Age Limits (As on 31 December 2025)

• Engineering (Graduate Engineer): No Minimum Age Limit
• Para-Medical & Pharmacy: Minimum 18 Years
• Maximum Age: No Limit

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile Requirement (any one):
  • Parents are permanent residents of Bihar
  • Parents working in Bihar
  • Bihar State Govt / PSU employees
  • Refugees settled in Bihar
  • Central Govt employees posted in Bihar
  • Pre-partition Bihar Govt employees still posted in Bihar/Jharkhand

Educational Qualification

• Engineering Stream:
  • 3-Year / 2-Year (Lateral Entry) Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST), OR
  • B.Sc. Degree with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) and 10+2 with Mathematics
  • B.Sc. candidates must clear Engineering Mechanics & Graphics/Drawing in 1st year
  • D.Voc. stream in same/allied sector is also eligible
• Pharmacy Stream:
  • 2-Year Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by Govt. of Bihar / Govt. of India
  • Final-year diploma candidates can apply but must pass before counselling
• Paramedical Stream:
  • 2-Year Diploma in Paramedical courses recognized by Govt. of Bihar / Govt. of India
  • Final-year candidates can apply but must pass before counselling
  • Admission only in the 2nd year of a related higher paramedical degree course

Application Process (Online Only)

1. Registration: Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and register with basic details
2. Fill Application Form: Enter personal, academic, and contact details
3. Upload Documents: Scanned photo (with name & date) and signature
4. Pay Fee: ₹2200 for all categories via online payment modes
5. Final Submit: Verify and submit the form
6. Print Confirmation: Download and keep the confirmation page

Exam Pattern

• Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper)
• Duration: 2 Hours 15 Minutes
• Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• Total Questions: 150
• Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answer, –1 for incorrect answer

  • Mathematics – 50 Questions (200 Marks)
  • Engineering Mechanics – 50 Questions (200 Marks)
  • General English – 50 Questions (200 Marks)
  • Total: 150 Questions | 600 Marks
• Paramedical:
  • Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, English
  • Total: 150 Questions | 600 Marks
• Pharmacy:
  • Pharmaceutics-I, Pharmaceutics-II, English
  • Total: 150 Questions | 600 Marks

How to Check & Download BCECE LE 2025 Counselling / Choice Filling

1. Visit BCECEB Official Website
2. Open BCECE-LE 2025 section
3. Check Online Counselling / Choice Filling notification
4. Login with Application No. / Roll No. and Password / DOB
5. Register for Counselling: Confirm details and pay fee (if applicable)
6. Fill Choices: Select preferred colleges and branches in priority order
7. Lock Choices: Confirm and download confirmation slip
8. Seat Allotment Result: Check allotted college/course as per schedule
9. Download Provisional Allotment Letter: Print for verification
10. Report for Document Verification: Carry allotment letter, original documents, and photos
11. Complete Admission: Verify documents, pay admission fee, and confirm seat
