- Mandatory registration with Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna
- For institutions outside Bihar: Suitability certificate from Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi
Selection Process
- Written Competitive Examination (Computer-Based Test): 75 Marks
- Work Experience: 25 Marks (5 marks per year as Tutor in govt./non-govt. nursing institutions in Bihar, max 25 marks)

- Level-8 in 7th Pay Commission
- ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 (Unrevised) + Grade Pay ₹4,800
