Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- 2-year full-time Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) from a recognized institute
- Must be registered with Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC)
- Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age:
- UR / EWS Female and BC / MBC Female: 40 years
- SC / ST (Male/Female): 42 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per SHSB rules for PwD and departmental candidates
Application Fee
- General / BC / EBC / EWS / Outside Bihar Candidates: ₹500
- SC / ST (Bihar Residents), Female (Bihar Residents), PwD: ₹125

Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 80 marks (Objective type questions)
- Work Experience – Up to 20 marks (5 marks per year, max 20)
- Normalization in case of multiple exam shifts
- Merit list prepared on combined CBT and experience scores
- Document verification for shortlisted candidates
- Final selection based on merit and category-wise vacancies
