Vacancy Details & Eligibility

1. Security Guard (Advt 02/2023) – 80 Posts

• Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) pass from recognised board.
• Age Limit: 18–25 years as on 01 January 2024.
• Physical Standards:
  • Male: Height 167.5 cm, Chest 76.5–81 cm, 1.6 km run in 6 mins, Vision 6/12.
  • Female: Height 154.6 cm, 1 km run in 6 mins, Vision 6/12.

2. Data Entry Operator – DEO (Advt 03/2023) – 40 Posts

• Qualification: 10+2 from recognised board approved by State/Central Govt.
• Typing Speed: 8000 key depressions/hour on computer.
• Age Limit: 18–37 years as on 01 August 2023.

3. Driver (Advt 04/2023) – 9–10 Posts

• Qualification: Class 10th pass.
• License: Valid LMV/HMV Driving Licence.
• Age Limit: 18–37 years as on 01 August 2023.

4. Office Attendant – OA (Advt 05/2023) – 50–54 Posts

• Qualification: Class 10th pass or equivalent.
• Age Limit: 18–37 years as on 01 August 2023.

Age Relaxation: As per Bihar Government rules.

Selection Process

• Security Guard: Written Exam + Physical Measurement Test (PMT) + Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Data Entry Operator: Written Test + Typing Test
• Driver: Written Test + Driving Skill Test
• Office Attendant: Written Test only
• Final Stage for All Posts: Document Verification & Medical Examination

How to Download Admit Card (Security Guard / DEO)

1. Visit the official Bihar Vidhan Sabha portal – https://vidhansabha.bihar.gov.in
2. Open the Admit Card section.
3. Select the link for your post (Security Guard 02/2023 / DEO 03/2023).
4. Log in using Registration/Application Number and Date of Birth or Password.
5. View and verify your admit card details.
6. Download and print for the exam.

Important Notes

• Recruitment is conducted under Advt Nos. 02/2023 to 05/2023.
• Applications were reopened in late 2024 to allow more candidates to apply.
• Security Guard exam postponed from April to August 2025.
• Driver result declared on 24 April 2025.
